The highlight of our weekend was this:
On Sunday morning, Matt and I took Riese down to the Old Town Alexandria waterfront for a change of scenery from our normal neighborhood walks. It was so nice to mix things up, and to be by the water!
We’ve learned that the best way to avoid hot mess meltdowns (and to prolong the fun) when a toddler is in the mix is to pack a picnic lunch vs.
